NISSAN CROSSING

Tokyo Design Center inc. (TDC) Review

NISSAN CROSSING occupies the first two floors of Ginza’s new landmark—GINZA PLACE. The impressive appearance of GINZA PLACE—designed by Klein Dytham architecture based on the motif of “FRETWORK,” a traditional carving technique—matches with Ginza’s Tokyu Plaza Building that draws its inspiration from “Edo glass.” The design theme of NISSAN CROSSING is “Spiral.” In this building, lighting transforms in accordance with the season, time, and the event held, emerging as a space where one can experience flow and movement. A setting displaying the latest digital processes used in automobile design enables the visitors to experience a deeper sensation than they would in a conventional car showroom.
